The Yamato-class battleship is a Japanese battleship.
Description
Carrying the largest naval artillery, there are no other battleships which can match the Yamato-class in firepower.
In addition to the powerful 46 cm/45 Type 94 naval guns and 15.5 cm/60 3rd Year Type naval guns, which are fired simultaneously for the first and second positions, the battleship also holds six twin 12.7 cm/40 Type 89 naval guns on each side. For aerial defense there are 12 fully enclosed triple Type 96 25mm AA guns on each side, making it very deadly against hostile aircraft. For balance issues the turrets fire one gun at a time, rather than three together at the same time.
Two Mitsubishi F1M2 seaplanes can be launched at the aft.
Trivia
The current Yamato represent its April 1945 configuration and is modified from the original Battlefield 1942's model.
