Wespe (Sd. Kfz. 124) is a German self-propelled artillery.
Description
Although the Panzer II was considered obsolete by the outbreak of WWII, it breathed new life by modifying the chassis to equip a 10.5 cm leFH 18 howitzer.
The Wespe serves as a self-propelled artillery for the German forces. It also has a MG 34 to fend off enemy infantry in close proximity. The vehicle has an open top fighting compartment, which makes the crew vulnerable to small arms fire, hand grenades and splinters. To avoid this, the Wespe should not be used in the front line.
As it applies to most self-propelled artillery in Battlegroup42, the Wespe appears in Co-op and Singleplayer modes with different coding in order to make it usable by bots.
It can be found in scenarios set in the 1943 and thereafter.

The model is modified from the original Battlefield 1942's counterpart.
