7.62mm machine gun
T-26 is a Soviet light tank.
Developed in the early 1930s, the T-26 first saw action during the Spanish civil war. Together with the BT-7 fast tank, it later formed the backbone of the Soviet army when Germany invades Soviet Russia before T-34 tanks became more readily available. The Red Army also deployed it against the Japanese in early border conflicts.
It was relatively well armed for its time with 45mm gun, but like most of its counterparts of the period, it was also lightly armoured. China also received some of these tanks, which have been deployed against the Japanese.
The T-26 has a flamethrower tank variant in the form of KhT-130.
