The Molotov cocktail is an incendiary weapon.
The "Molotov cocktail" is a generic term for bottle-based improvised incendiary weapons. Although the name is coined by the Finns during the Winter War after the Soviet foreign minister Vyacheslav Molotov, there were precedent uses in earlier conflicts. The composition varies from one user to another, but in general a typical Molotov cocktail consists of a glass bottle containing flammable liquid with a burning cloth as a wick or a match to ignite the content. It is then thrown and upon impact a fireball breaks out.
In Battlegroup42, the Molotov cocktail functions as anti-tank grenade. Like most anti-tank grenades, it causes damage to a target on impact, followed by a short lingering flame which can cause damage to infantry in a small area of effect. It is available to the Russian rifleman and anti-tank classes, as well as the Italian and Greek rifleman class.
