The Mk 2 grenade is an American hand grenade.
Description[]
First introduced in 1918, the Mk 2 grenade was the standard hand grenade issued to American forces throughout World War II and up to the 1960s. Similar to the F1 Grenade, it features an egg shape appearance with grooves, hence the popular nickname "pineapple". The grenade was mass produced in tremendous numbers, hence it was still in limited use on front line service until 1960s despite the emergence of more modern hand grenades.
In Battlegroup42, the Mk 2 grenade is the standard hand grenade of the scout, assault, anti-tank, medic, machine gunner and rifleman classes of the American forces.
