7.7mm machine guns
Mitsubishi A6M is a Japanese fighter.
Introduced early in 1940, the "Zero" was well known for its maneuverability and dogfighting performance, and despite slowly become outdated and with newer enemy aircraft catching up to its capabilities, the fighter continued to serve in the Pacific theatre throughout the war. In Battlegroup42 it is equipped with two Type 97 machine guns and two 20mm Type 99 cannons and it can be found on land-based airfields as well as on board of aircraft carriers.
The Zero has a seaplane variant in the form of Nakajima A6M2-N.
The aircraft's model is based on the original Battlefield 1942's A6M Zero.
