M7 Priest is an American self-propelled artillery.

Self-propelled artillery vehicles became a vital part of mobile warfare, capable to follow the tanks and soften strongpoints for them. As with any new weapon, many of the early developments have design drawbacks, such as limited armour or off-road capability as with the T19 Howitzer Motor Carriage, the low speed and limited elevation of the Bishop. The M7 Priest HMC eliminated most of those major drawbacks. Its development based on the American medium tank chassis, which eased maintanance and provided it with equal cross country capabilities. The M7 became the standard self-propelled artillery for both American and British forces, and it saw first action with the British at El Alamein. However, though being pleased with the performance of the M7, the incompatibility of ammunition with the QF 25-pounder gun urged the British to developed an own, very similar vehicle with right-hand drive and a 25-pdr gun. This resulted in the Sexton.

The Priest's main armament is the 105mm M2A1 howitzer. For self-defense against enemy infantry or low flying aircraft, an M2 Browning machine gun is mounted on pulpit-like ring, hence earning its nickname "the Priest".

It first appear in late 1942 in the North African theatre, and later also on many other theatres, such as Italy, Northwest Europe, as well as the Pacific.

The model is a major modified version from the original Battlefield 1942's counterpart.
