Grumman F8F Bearcat is an American fighter .
Designed to succeed the Hellcat, the Grumman F8F Bearcat would be Grumman's last piston-engine fighter aircraft. The plane combined a rugged design with high speed, which made it competitive to early jet-powered fighters. It came too late to see any combat service in World War Two, but was extensively used in Indochina and Korea afterwards.
In Battlegroup42 the Bearcat appears exclusively in 4701-Antarctica. It is equipped with four 20mm AN/M3 cannons and four rockets.
