Germany is one of the Axis nations of World War Two.
After invading Poland and launching World War Two in 1939, Germany made significant gains in Europe in the following year. Following the German invasion of the Soviet Union in 1941, the tide turned against the nation, fighting on an increasing number of fronts with little to no gains, and eventually turning to the defensive for the majority of the war's remaining years.
The Germans appear in numerous maps featured across several theatres of war, facing Soviet Union, United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, France, Netherlands, Greece, Yugoslavia and also Italy.
