A civilian is a person who is not part of a country's armed forces, nor is directly involved in an armed conflict.
There are no civilians in Battlegroup42, hence they are not a playable faction. However, civilian vehicles can be found in some maps, and they can be controlled by any player. They may also appear as static models.
