Type 96 15cm howitzer is a Japanese howitzer.
Description[]
The Type 96 150mm howitzer was the main field howitzer in the Japanese arsenal during World War 2. It was one of the first artillery pieces of the Japanese Army intended to be towed by motorized prime movers, such like trucks. The Type 96 first saw action 1937 during the Second Sino-Japanese War and performed outstanding. Even the Allied military intelligence regarded it to be one of the most modern, well designed and effective Japanese weapons.
The Type 96 serves as the main field howitzer for the Japanese forces in Battlegroup42 as well. It can be found in battles set in China and in the Pacific theatre.
