The Sdkfz 251/17 is a German anti-aircraft vehicle.

As a dedicated anti-aircraft variant of Sdkfz 251/1, the Sdkfz 251/17 had its rear compartment enlarged with folding panels in order to accommodate the 2cm FlaK 38. The anti-aircraft gun could traverse 360° without restrictions, even with the folding panels closed.
The Sdkfz 251/17 in BattleGroup42 was modified from Battlefield 1942's original Hanomag model. The Flak 38 was effective against low flying aircraft, as well as infantry and soft skinned vehicles. However, the vehicle was thinly armoured, and the gunner is exposed to enemy fire, therefore the vehicle should avoid enemy ground units, or at least have adequate friendly support nearby if direct engagement is necessary.
Due to its old model and the fact that the actual vehicle only saw limited service late in World War II, this anti-aircraft vehicle has now been replaced by the much more common Opel Blitz and Opel Maultier in the mod, both of which have anti-aircraft variant armed with the same gun.
