SU-100 is a Soviet tank destroyer.
Description[]
The SU-100 is the successor of the SU-85. When the 85mm D-5T gun of the SU-85 becomes inadequate against the heaviest of German armour, and that the said gun becomes readily available T-34 tanks, the 100mm D-10 tank gun is used on the chassis instead, forming the SU-100.
As with its predecessor, the SU-100 should be used in long range in support of other front line units. Due to its lack of machine gun, confrontation with enemy infantry is best avoided.
It is available from late 1944 onward.
