Nakajima A6M2-N is a Japanese seaplane based on the Mitsubishi A6M fighter.
Description[]
Modified from the earliest production model of Mitsubishi A6M, the A6M2-N primarily served as point-defense seaplane fighter. However it also saw action in limited ground attack role, particularly against smaller vessels such as torpedo boats.
The A6M2-N in BattleGroup42 fires the 7.7mm Type 97 machine guns and 20mm Type 99 cannons simultaneously, even though the indicator only shows the ammunition count for the former. However, the 20mm cannons have fewer ammunition than the machine guns, hence will run out first. Friendly airfields and aircraft carrier will refill both guns' ammunition.
The plane always spawns with the Type B1 submarine, where it has to be launched from the vessel's catapult. It can also be found as independent aircraft in 4112-Flying Tigers and 4305-Battle of Attu.
