For historical information, Wikipedia has an article on Battle of Arnhem.

Operation Market Garden is a map set in the city of Arnhem, Netherlands. It is fought between United Kingdom and Germany.

Description[]

The British start off with one uncapturable base. The Germans have one uncapturable base south of the river and one control point near the Church. There are also five neutral control points in the area.

Whichever side holds four or more control points will incur a ticket bleed to the other side.

The northernmost Allied airfield control point can only be captured by the British.

The Crashed Gliders control point to the northeast does not offer spawn point at its location, but if the British capture it they can spawn as parachutists around the city.

Fighting is carried out by tanks and infantry. The British force starts off with very light equipment, and they should capture the Allied Airfield control point to gain access to aircraft and armoured vehicles, as well as the Crashed Gliders control point to gain the parachutist spawn point. The Germans do not have access to fighters or bombers, but they have a large number of tanks and artillery to resist the British.

Trivia[]

The map is ported and modified from the map with the same name from original Battlefield 1942.
