The Opel Blitz is a German truck.

The Opel Blitz "A" 1,5-ton truck was the workhorse of the Wehrmacht and served in huge numbers and multiple roles on all theatres of war. It is one of the most popular vehicles of World War 2 at all. In Battlegroup42, the truck can be found on almost every map with German troops, with open or closed truck bed, depending of the season and location. It has space for a driver and a passenger at the front, and four more passengers at the back. As with any other troop transport in the mod, the truck can provide first aid and ammunition to its passengers, as well as repair for friendly vehicles in the vicinity. It is unarmed and unarmoured, therefore one should avoid direct engagement with enemy forces whenever possible.
There is an armed variant of the Opel Blitz which carries a 2cm Flak 38 anti-aircraft gun. The Opel Blitz also has a halftrack variant in the form of Opel Maultier.
