For historical information, Wikipedia has an article on Fiat M13/40.

M13/40 is an Italian medium tank.

Description[]

A successor to the M11/39, the Fiat-Ansaldo M13/40 is equipped with a 47mm Cannone da 47/32 M35 in the turret, one 8mm Breda 38 machine gun in the coaxial mount, and two more in the front hull. The 47mm gun offers good penetration capabilities. Combined with a thicker armor, the M13/40 could fight on equal terms with most of the contemporary enemy tanks, except the heavily protected Matilda II. As a backbone of the Italian armored divisions, it saw extensive service in North Africa, Sicily and the Balkans. However, with the appearance of new, more heavily armoured tanks on the battlefield from 1942 on the M13/40 quickly became outclassed. Captured ones were used by the Germans in second line duties until the end of war, though.

In BattleGroup42, the Fiat-Ansaldo M13/40 appears in scenarios set after 1940, not only on Axis side but also on Allied side with the Australians, who use captured M13/40 in Tobruk. A German confiscated variant can be seen in 4504-Mouse Roars.
