The LVT-2 was one of the early variants of the LVT amphibious vehicle family. It improved over the original LVT-1 by having better terrain performance.
In BattleGroup42 the LVT-2 served as an amphibious transport that could be launched from various ships, with one M2 Browning machine gun mounted at the front.
The model found its way early in BattleGroup42 development, and due to its outdated visual quality the development team took the opportunity to replace it with the LVT(A)-2 variant in the final versions.
