The Junkers Ju 52 is a German transport aircraft.

The Ju 52 serves the German forces as troop and cargo transport throughout the war. It also flies as a civilian airliner before and after the war.
In Battlegroup42 the Ju 52 acts as a mobile spawn point where soldiers can spawn and parachute down to enemy positions. The transport aircraft's sole defense is a single MG 15 machine gun in dorsal position. It relies on friendly fighters to obtain air superiority in order to maximize its safety.
It can be found in maps such as 4005-Airfield Ockenburg and 4208-Operation Herkules where paratroopers play an important role. Groups of Ju 52 can also be found flying over the skies in 4005-Willemsbrug and 4105-Operation Mercury as moving props.
