The Hawker Hurricane is a British fighter.

While not as famous as the Supermarine Spitfire, the rugged Hawker Hurricane was the backbone of the Royal Air Force Fighter Command in the early days of the war. Constantly improved and adapted for various roles, the aircraft served throughout the war from the beginning to the end.
There are four versions of the Hurricane in Battlegroup42: The Mk I a pure fighter is armed with eight Browning machine guns, and the Mk IIB fighter-bomber has twelve machine guns as well as racks for carrying bombs. The Mk IIC is a fighter-bomber armed with two 20mm Hispano cannons instead of machine guns, and finally the Mk IV is a ground attack aircraft armed with two 40mm Vickers S cannons.
Trivia[]
There was the Hurricane Mk IV in earlier versions of the mod armed with 20mm cannons and rockets. Its role has now been replaced by the Hawker Typhoon, which shares the same armaments.
