Crusader Gun Tractor is a British gun tractor.
Description[]
With the conclusion of the African theatre in May 1943, the British Crusader tanks were withdrawn from frontline service, and a large number of them for converted for other duties. One such example was the gun tractor variant used to tow the QF 17-pounder gun.
In Battlegroup42 the Crusader Gun Tractor serves as an armoured personnel carrier. It has space for one driver and five passengers, with the passenger in the position operating a Browning M1919 machine gun.
As its name suggests, the Crusader Gun Tractor may also appear towing the 17-pounder gun in some maps.
It appears in European theatre from June 1944 onwards.
