Across the Reef is a map set around Betio Island. It is fought between United States and Japan.
Description[]
There are seven control points in total: all of which are under Japanese control initially.
The American force starts off with one Essex-class aircraft carrier, one North Carolina-class battleship, two freighters, and one Landing Ship Medium for the amphibious assault. The Japanese side has one Type B1 submarine and a torpedo boat to counter the American naval threat.
Whichever side holds five or more control points will cause a ticket bleed to the other side.
The atoll is surrounded by a thin but long stretch of coral, which can hinder landing craft from landing closer to the beach. The Americans have powerful naval elements, but the Japanese have a lot of stationary weapons for local defense and to repel the landing force.
