For historical information, Wikipedia has an article on AMC Schneider P 16.

AMC Schneider P 16 is a French half-track.

Description[]

The P 16 was designed and produced in the years after World War I for the French cavalry units. It was originally scheduled to be phased out and replaced by newer tanks in the late 1930s, but many vehicles remained in service and had to be pressed into battle when Germany invaded France in May 1940. By that time these vehicles were obsolete and mostly worn out after a decade of duty, but they nonetheless fought with some local successes.

In BattleGroup42, the P 16 functions as a light tank, featuring the the same 37mm Puteaux SA 18 gun as the Renault FT-17, which can handle most of the lightly armoured vehicles that it has to face. It also has a 7.5mm Reibel machine gun in the coaxial mount to put down enemy infantry. However, the vehicle's armour is only sufficient against small arms fire, and it cannot withstand anything greater in calibre.

It can be found in scenarios set before June 1940, such as 4005-Hannut Steel and 4005-Stonne.
