Comacchio is a map set around the town of Comacchio in Italy. It is fought between United Kingdom and Germany.

Description[]

Both sides have access to a large number of tanks, with limited number of aircraft for support. Infantry take a more important role in urban area, where there are more narrow spaces available.

The Conquest mode and Co-op mode have different setups:

Conquest mode[]

The British start off with one uncapturable base, whereas the Germans have one uncapturable base and six control points.

Whichever side holds four or more control points will incur a ticket bleed to the other side.

The British must capture the control points in a fixed order as indicated on the map. The Germans must recapture the control points in the reverse order should they lose any of them. The Bellochio Canal control point cannot be recaptured by the Germans once it is neutralised by the British.

Co-op mode[]

The British start off with one uncapturable base, whereas the Germans have one uncapturable base and three control points. There is also one neutral control point between the British and German initial positions.

Whichever side holds three or more control points will incur a ticket bleed to the other side.

Unlike Conquest mode, all control points can be captured in any order.

Trivia[]

  • The map is ported and modified from an older map of the same name, which is part of the "All Roads Lead to Rome" map pack by zara5ustra for Battlefield 1942: The Road to Rome.
