Operation Varsity is a map set near Wesel in Germany. It is fought between United Kingdom and Germany.
Description[]
The British have two uncapturable bases west of the river, and a paradrop spawn point east of the river in the forest. The Germans start off two uncapturable bases and two control points. There are also two neutral control points in the forest. In Conquest mode, the British also have a controllable Airspeed Horsa glider that spawns mid-air over the airfield.
Fighting is carried out by tanks and infantry, with limited support from aircraft. The British can parachute into the woods and capture the two nearby neutral control points in order to divert the German attention, while buying time for the friendly armour column to cross the river and attack the two German control points. The Germans have powerful tanks to repel the British assault, as well as a Messerschmitt Me 262 fighter jet to fend off hostile aircraft.

- The first layout of the map was made by Zara5ustra and used from version 0.95 until 1.8 Open BETA. The map was later heavily modified and overhauled to its current form by SargeSurfat and adopted from FINAL Release Candidate 1 onwards.
- Due to the large number of vegetation on this map, it is recommended to play this map with a high-end computer in order to allow smooth gameplay.
