Monte Battaglia is a map set around the eponymous hill in Italy. It is fought between United States and Germany.
Description[]
The Germans start off with one uncapturable base at the bottom of the hill.
In Conquest mode, the Americans have four control points to defend. In Co-op mode, the Castle control point at the top of the hill is uncapturable, reducing the total number of control points to three.
Either side can only inflict a ticket bleed to its opponent by holding all control points, making this map a battle of attrition.
Even though the Germans have armoured fighting vehicles, they would have to fight an uphill battle, and while the Americans have no armoured vehicles, they do have various stationary weapons to tie the Germans down.

- The map is ported and modified from an older map of the same name, which is part of the "All Roads Lead to Rome" map pack by zara5ustra for Battlefield 1942: The Road to Rome.
