Gustav Line is a map set along the eponymous defensive line in Italy. It is fought between Free France and Germany.
Description[]
There are six control points in this map: two under the French, two under the Germans, and two are neutral.
Whichever side holds four or more control points will incur a ticket bleed to the other side.
Tanks take the lead role in this scenario, with infantry and aircraft providing support. The paths linking the control points are laid along both sides of the river banks, funnelling much of the two forces to fight on the same roads with little cover available.
Trivia[]
- This map features the Moroccan Goumiers of the French Expeditionary Corps, who are notable for their distinctive striped clothing.
- The map is ported and modified from Battle for Anzio of Battlefield 1942: The Road to Rome.
