For historical information, Wikipedia has an article on Operation U-Go.

Operation Ugo is a map set in Manipur, British India. It is fought between United Kingdom and Japan.

Description[]

This is a large map with five control points: three under the British, and two are neutral.

The British can inflict a ticket bleed on the Japanese as long as they hold three or more control points. The Japanese need to hold at least four control points in order to cause the British to suffer a ticket bleed.

Tanks and aircraft play a large role in this map, as there are long distances among control points with very little cover available. Infantry are useful for defending control points, where there are more cover and narrow spaces available. The Japanese have a large number of tanks, with many ready at the edge of the jungle, whereas the British have fewer but better tanks.
