Daimler Mk II is a British armoured car.
The Daimler Armoured Car is designed for reconnaissance and liaison duty. Similar to the British tanks early in the war, it is armed with a QF 2-pounder gun and a coaxial Besa machine gun in the turret. The second position on the turret's open can designate targets for friendly artillery.
It makes its debut in the North African theatre, and despite being complemented by Humber Mk IV, remains available in frontline service in the war.
