7.92mm machine gun
Crusader II is a British tank.
The Crusader II featured a number of improvements over the Crusader I, such as better frontal armour and a better engine. The auxiliary turret, which proved to have limited tactical worth and to be a projectile trap, was removed to save weight.
The tank retains its 2-pounder gun and the coaxial Besa machine gun. As with its predecessors, the Crusader II has relatively weak armour, therefore it should use its mobility to its advantage in armoured engagement. It is succeeded by the Crusader III, which features the 6-pounder gun.
It appears in the North African theatre between 1941 and early 1943.
