The Colt Single Action Army is an American revolver.

Description

Known as "The Gun That Won the West" or "Peacemaker", the Colt Single Action Army started its still enduring career in 1873. Though already been retired by the US forces and replaced by the Colt M1911 Automatic Pistol as a standard sidearm prior to World War 1, it was still a weapon of choice especially by officers up to and throughout World War 2. There were many variants of the Colt SAA modified for the use of different cartridges, among which the .45 Colt and .44-40 Winchester were the most potent and popular. Its long barrel gave the bullet additional energy, so it was famous for its accuracy and high power, either in man stopping or penetration.

In Battlegroup42 the Colt SAA was used as a sidearm for the anti-tank and officer classes of the US and US Marine forces.
