For historical information, Wikipedia has an article on C15TA Armoured Truck.

C15TA Armoured Truck is a Canadian armoured truck.

Description[]

Designed around a regular Chevrolet 15CWT chassis, the C15TA Armoured Truck was developed by General Motors Canada along the concept lines of the American M3 Scout Car with the intention of replacing it and other US-produced half-tracks in Canadian service. It first saw action with the Canadian troops that went ashore in Normandy in June, 1944. The C15TA was mainly used as armoured personnel carrier, with room for eight passengers, but ambulance variant also exists. The vehicle was usually unarmed, but some crews mounted machine guns for self-defence. The C15TA quickly became very popular among the troops and was a very common sight wherever the Canadians fought. Some had also been used by Allied troops in Burma and other parts of Southeast Asia.

As with any other troop transport in BattleGroup42, the C15TA provides first aid and ammunition to its passengers, as well as repair for friendly vehicles in the vicinity. It is unarmed, therefore one should avoid direct engagement with enemy forces whenever possible.

It is available on maps set after mid-1944, such as Liberation of Caen and 4503-Hellendoorn.
