For historical information, Wikipedia has an article on Aichi B7A.

Aichi B7A2 Ryusei is a Japanese torpedo bomber and dive bomber.

Description[]

Although intended to be a high performance carrier-borne attack aircraft as a torpedo bomber or a dive bomber, the Ryusei came too late in World War II to fulfill this role; its large size and weight meant Taiho was the only aircraft carrier that was capable of operating it. With Taiho lost in the Battle of the Philippines, however, the remainder of the aircraft were relegated to land-based role.

In BattleGroup42, the Ryusei boasts high speed and respectable maneuverability as a dive bomber. It is equipped with two 20mm Type 99 Model 2 cannons and bombs, as well as a Type 92 machine gun at the rear.

The aircraft can be found on late Pacific maps such as 4505-Shuri Line and 4508-Yamashita Treasure.
