There are six control points on this map: the Japanese hold five of them, and the remainder is neutral.
The Americans start off with Essex-class aircraft carrier, one Wickes-class high-speed transport, and one Landing Ship Medium for the amphibious assault. The Japanese naval elements consist of one Type B1 submarine and one Akizuki-class destroyer in the opposite side.
The values of the control points differ from one to another.
Hill 100: 50
Bloody Nose Ridge: 40
The Point: 20
Ngesebus Island: 20
Hold control points with total value more than 90 will incur a ticket bleed to the other side. The White Beach control point, which is initially neutral, can only be captured by the Americans.
Fighting is carried out by infantry, with extensive support from aircraft for both sides. The Americans have many landing craft available for amphibious assault, whereas the Japanese have a submarine and aircraft from two airfields to counter them.
