8mm machine gun
38M Toldi I is a Hungarian light tank.
The Toldi I was a variant of the swedisch Landsverk L-60 light tank, build by MAVAG in Hungary. It first saw service with the Hungarian Army 1941 in Yugoslavia. The tank was armed with a 20mm autocannon in a closed turret and a 8mm machine gun in the coaxial mount to counter enemy infantry. Similar to the German Panzer II in performance, it proved to be much too thinly armored. So production shifted to the better protected Toldi II after 81 vehicles have been delivered.
In Battlegroup42, the Toldi I can fire up to four rounds in automatic mode before reloading. Its gun is adequate against soft-skinned vehicles, but not against tanks.
The Toldi I has an improved variant in the form of 42M Toldi IIa.
